Great review. I'm going to share it. I also read and enjoyed this book a couple of years ago. I knew multiple people who knew Thornley (and who told me some great stories about him). So I enjoy telling people that I have two degrees of separation from Lee Harvey Oswald. And talk about synchronicity, I'm sure you're aware of this chain of connections...
If you knew Thornley or someone who knew him then you are connected to Oswald who was connected to George de Mohrenshildt who was connected to Jackie Bouvier (who, as a teenager inherited a room from Gore Vidal after a divorce and remarriage) who was married to John F. Kennedy who was supposedly murdered by Oswald. Actually, you're part of this chain too since you know me, even if you never met any other libertarians with a connection to Thornley.
